Sending your samples
Everything to check before your parcel leaves. A clearly labelled sample and an order packing sheet help us match your delivery to the right project.
Check your order
Accept your quotation, then open the order in My TESTDOG. Follow its sample requirements and use the delivery address shown there.
Check the material, dimensions and quantity agreed for your work. If anything has changed, send us a message before posting.
You can send samples while your PO is being prepared. Work starts once the required authorisation and samples or data are ready.
Pack your samples & add the packing sheet
- Label each sample clearly. Give every sample a unique identifier and use the same identifiers on the packing sheet.
- Protect your samples. Keep separate samples individually wrapped or contained, with secure containers and cushioning appropriate to the material.
- Print your packing sheet and put it inside. In your order, select Download packing sheet (PDF). It includes the project, order, services and quantities, without prices. Enclose the printed sheet with your samples.
Add the actual sample identifiers and number of pieces if they are not yet recorded. Test quantities may differ from physical sample counts. If using several parcels, put a sheet in each and mark the parcel number.
For hazardous materials, temperature-sensitive samples or oversized items, contact TESTDOG before dispatch to confirm handling and delivery arrangements.
Ship your samples
Choose a tracked delivery service and keep the tracking details. Once you have handed over the parcel, select Tell us samples have been sent in your order, then confirm Yes, samples sent.
Share the courier and tracking number in Messages. TESTDOG will record receipt in your portal; courier delivery alone does not confirm sample acceptance or the start of testing.
After dispatch, expand Delivery address & packing sheet to check the address or download the PDF again.
